Baskin is a new, fully Inclusive, sport from Italy showcasing at Cambridge University Sports Centre.
“Baskin is a new sport invented in Cremona, Italy in 2003 whose objective is to create an activity literally everyone –girls, boys, the able and those with physical or mental challenges to overcome – can participate in and enjoy fully to the best of their abilities.”
Baskin is a game like Basketball but is fully inclusive with both men and women, able and disabled all playing together. Please have a look at this video clip on YouTube.
On Saturday 29th April from 10.00 – 12.00 at The Cambridge University Sports Centre, with the aid of members of the University Basketball teams, Baskin will be showcased. VIPs include Paralympic Wheelchair basketball player Wendy Smith and local Councillors.
