There are a number of reasons parents believe could be preventing their children from aspiring to go onto Higher Education.
Children from the ages of 13-19 of all backgrounds should be entitled to have the same opportunity to further their education, so Peterborough Council for Voluntary Service (PCVS) & the Network for East Anglian Collaborative Outreach (NEACO) are undertaking a project to increase the number of young people going into further education and are examining the perceived barriers parents believe are preventing their children from aspiring to go on to Higher Education within a range of protected groups.
This is a great project for your children aged 13-19, belonging to the following groups:
BAME (Black and Minority Ethnic
Children of migrant workers
To help provide NEACO with research to have a better understanding of the needs of these communities regarding Higher Education, please take the time to fill out the short survey below if you have children aged 13-19 and fit into the groups listed above.
Plus, you will also be entered into the prize to win a £20 Queensgate voucher!
