Date of Birth:
18 March 1981
Craig Green was born with Poland Syndrome, a rare birth defect which affected his right hand and a pectoral muscle.
Craig only switched from football to cycling last year – but already he is closing in on the country’s top disabled cyclists.
Craig is a C5 ParaCylist and a Tri4 ParaTriathlete. Craig’s sponsors are The BGL Group and YMCA Cambs and Peterborough and he is supported by Inspire Peterborough. Craig races locally for GreenWheel Cycles Peterborough and competes in the Road/TT national Para series.
Craig’s main aspiration is to represent his country internationally at the Paralympics in Rio 2016. Other goals include winning races/events on a domestic level “giving me a chance to get enough ranking points to enable me to get on the Team GB plane”.
