Precious is currently diagnosed with challenging behaviour however is undergoing assessment for an autism spectrum disorder and Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder as well as sensory issues.

Her sport is inclusive ice skating she also plays football and netball for school team and runs at the track, dances and swims
Precious is from Peterborough and currently attends school in Cardea, Stanground. She has three siblings, two of whom have additional needs, including autism spectrum disorders and and developmental delay. She is also classified as a young carer as her mum has a physical disability and Precious gives much needed help with her younger siblings.

Precious attends Inspire Peterborough Inclusive Skating sessions where she has excelled at learning to ice skate, breezing through the first few grades of the learn to skate system. She is also talented at sledging and if a Junior Phantoms Sledge team is set up, Inspire Peterborough will be asking Precious to take part.

Since taking part in Inspire Peterborough activities, Precious’ confidence has increased and she has been able to manage her emotions and feelings, having fewer meltdowns due to channelling all of her energy in a positive manner into sport. Precious is a positive role model for other people, including young carers and people with additional needs.
