Peterborough & District Angling Association (PDAA)

Peterborough & District Angling Association have managed to secure rights to a water known as Orton Pond in Goldie Lane, Orton Waterville. About ten years ago a very significant investment was made by the Environment Agency to make this venue suitable for disabled anglers by putting in fishing platforms with guide rails. For some time this was run by a disabled angling group which no longer is active.
A number of years have passed since it was used as a fishing venue and we would like to use it as a place to introduce juniors to the sport with the hope we can once again have a thriving junior section in the club.

The terms of our agreement with the owners, Nene Park Trust, stipulate that this water is to be used for the sole purpose of junior coaching, youth development and for community groups. We are also required by the agreement to run it as a separate entity (name still to be agreed).

Our Junior membership/day tickets are free of charge so we derive no income from the younger age group.

We have another coach, Mr William McNaughton, so would be able to accommodate reasonable numbers.

We are currently refreshing the content of the Inspire Peterborough website. Please contact info@disabilitypeterborough.org if you have any questions.
