Sainsburys Local Charity of the Year

Over the past six years, Sainsbury’s stores have selected a Local Charity of the Year to partner with, raising over £7 million.

The 2015 scheme opened in May. During May and June, local stores selected a shortlist of local registered charities for their customers to vote on. The charity with the most votes will be selected and supported over the next 12 months through fundraising and volunteering.

Inspire Peterborough has been selected in the top three by Sainsbury’s Bretton! Along with tough competition from Peterborough Association for the Blind and the Alzheimer’s Society. We are calling on the public to vote for us, so please use the link below and select the Bretton store.

Your help is really appreciated and if we can secure extra funding we can continue to develop new and existing inclusive sport project in the area such as the Inclusive Skating and Mental Health Football which are now becoming very popular.

Please Note:  To vote for us, you will have to select the Bretton store once you enter your local postcode.
