The Cambridge Wheelchair Race Group

With funding from Sport England, we are pleased to announce the start-up of a Wheelchair Racing Group in Cambridge. Participants do not need any experience of athletics or wheelchair racing – just an enthusiasm for sport and to learn new skills. Sessions are delivered by UKA licensed Athletics Coaches.

For more information please contact Amy Frith, Club and Coach Support Officer, England Athletics

I have Invictus wheelchair rollers, which, sadly, are now surplus to requirement. The rollers are just over a year old and were only used for a very short time. They are an excellent means of building arm and body strength for users of manual wheelchairs and were given huge praise by David Weir after the London Marathon.
I would be happy to donate the rollers to any group who would find them beneficial.
They are currently in my home in Hemingford Grey, and I would be pleased to deliver them to an appropiate group who would put them to good use.
