Returning for a 4th 10 week session thanks to our colleagues from City College Peterborough & Ferry Meadows Country Park, the ever popular inclusive walking which resumed on Wednesday the 24th June. The group meets at the Visitors Centre in Ferry meadows between 10:00am – 10.15am and you only walk as far as you feel you want to.
The walks are aimed at getting people out of the house and engaged in some light exercise and we have volunteers to support walkers that need help. After the walks, there will be complimentary coffee and cake afterwards-courtesy of City College. The walks are open (and free) to anyone with a disability or long term condition as well as carers and/or family members.
Ask for Helen Koenig – the walk leader at the Visitor Centre when you arrive. There is no need to book so you can turn up on the day, whichever weeks you would like to attend.
If you have any more questions please do not hesitate to contact us.
